Our drum cord is specifically designed for drum lacing but can be used anyware a firm, slightly stiff, low stretch cord is needed.

Polyester is ideally suited for this cord as the material will hold tension. some exotic materials have "creep". They continue to stretch even after tensioning. This continious elongation causes the exotic core to relax putting all the load on the polyester cover. These cords require frequent retensioning until final rupture.

Our 100% polyester cords will remain taut without loss of strength.

Construction is designed to never expose the core fibres even when "pulling diamonds".
