Vale Frano Buzolić

1930 – 2018

Husband to Pat, Father of seven, Grandfather of sixteen, Great Grandfather of four

I am who I am because he was who he was.

Shortly after the war Frank, his brother Nick and two friends rowed a dingy across the Adriatic sea from Croatia to Italy to escape Tito's Yugoslavia.

From literally having nothing but the clothes on their backs he built two engineering companies, educated six of seven through university (I did a trade) and became a life member of both the Brisbane Table Tennis Association and the Coolum Bridge club.

He died this week without a regret, in the house he built at the beach surrounded by the children he was so proud of.

He loved me dearly and I him. Goodbye Dad.
